Bank It

Bank It

Teaching financial concepts can in fact be presented to children in a fun and exciting way. No, we’re not kidding. The same children who you might expect to roll their eyes at yet another lesson on fiscal responsibility embraced the concepts presented here. Players set a goal, in this case a new bicycle, and set

Go Fish for Ancient Egypt

Go Fish for Ancient Egypt

This Ancient Egypt themed card game is really a unique version of Go Fish. As with many products we have seen from Birdcage Press this is a beautifully repackaged set and there is a terrific educational component here, but at its core it is Go Fish. The fact that the gameplay was not unique didn’t

Dino-Bump

Dino-Bump

The first impression that many of our testers had when reading the rules of Dino-Bump and sitting down to play it was a powerful sense of déjà vu. Dino-Bump reminded a significant majority of our testers as a game similiar to one everyone grew up with, Chutes and Ladders. There is no denying the appeal

Jeepers Peepers

This wonderfully unique and delightful game enchanted testers, especially the younger ones who couldn’t wait to get their hands on the multicolored glasses. The game is completely fun but that doesn’t keep it from being quite educational at the same time. Children will be learning skills that help them question and enhance their problem solving

Volcanic Disaster-Eruption Prediction Card Game

A game with a premise of this kind might strike some as being a strictly educational experience. They would be mistaken. This is a game of strategy and luck where fortunes can shift quickly. Yes, players are gaining an incredible amount of knowledge about volcanos and what causes them, but the game play raises the
