Link4fun Cards is a unique flashcard system that works ‘magically’ with an iPad. Link4fun comes with sets of flash cards (fruits and veggies, dairy and protein and grain and snacks) and interacts with a free app that is downloaded on your tablet. There really is something awesome and cool about these flash cards. When you hold the flash card over the screen it is magically read out loud. This was very exciting and the height of fun interactivity. The cards are sturdy and wipeable, a nice touch. When kids get the answer right a green check appears and a red x is displayed when a wrong card is used. Everything is easy to set up. Just download the app, open the set and you are ready to go. There are six games to play – match pictures, match words, hear and find pictures, hear and find words, word to picture and picture to word. The premise here is that learning is enhanced when multiple senses are engaged and that is exactly what happens when you child touches, sees and listens to Link4fun Cards. Note: It does take some practice, patience and a steady hand for the iPad to get a good read of the card.
