Dino MagnaMorphs

Dino MagnaMorphs

What do you get when you put a bunch of magnetic dinosaur body parts in a box? We’re not sure we know the answer, but they sure would give some paleontologists a start. Kids who dig dinosaurs absolutely loved this toy. Parents noted that the strength of the magnets was just right, allowing for creativity […]

Moonjar Classic Moneybox

Once kids discover money (which is happening earlier and earlier these days) they need help understanding the responsibilities of saving it, spending it and sharing it. The Moonjar is a unique concept of teaching kids to allocate their money for a variety of things. Ideas like budgeting and building towards a goal are well presented

Matchbox Buried Treasure Playset

When it comes to imagination playsets you want to have lots of options to bring a heightened level of fun to the proceedings. That’s why kids loved all the levels, ramps and sound effects of the Buried Treasure Playset so much. Moving their car up and around the playset was an adventure each and everytime.

Learning Connections Train

Learning Connections Train

Babies and toddlers agree, when it comes to fun, give them an interactive, talking train on wheels and they will happily while away the hours. This train comes with 5 cars and an engine that roll easily across the floor. The secret to all the fun is that when children attach the cars to the

There is something very cool about being able to push buttons and see the effect on a big TV screen. That had to have been the theory behind the creation of this all-in-one electronic gizmo. With a very small learning curve, and very easy set-up, children were quickly playing with the chunky-sized controller and making

Huggy Smart ABCs

The ubiquitous refrigerator magnets of our youth have been relagated to attic boxes and landfills. Make way for the next generation of magnetic letters, redesigned for little hands with a chunky size and a velvety soft exterior. The magnets won’t pop-out like their choking-hazard predecessors since they are buried inside the colorful coverings. The only

My Twinn Doll

A hundred and twenty bucks for a doll?!! That was the initial reaction of most testers to My Twinn Doll, but that quickly faded once both parents and their daughters got a look at just how impressively crafted this doll is. What also makes My Twinn Doll unique (and due to time constraints something we

Frog Pond

Frog Pond

If you looking for a good first game to introduce your pre-schooler to the fun of boardgame play then here’s a cute idea that will entertain and amuse young children quite nicely. Children move their silly frogs around the board (testers liked to add in their own sound effects) in a simple and easy to

Wavelength

Wavelength

Can you get on the same wavelength as your teammate? That’s the challenge to this very entertaining and revealing board game from Alary. The challenge is to try to find common threads when presented with a theme. For example, both players must list Favorite Ice Cream flavors from 1-5 in sixty seconds. When time is

A Seal of Approval review involves a multi-step process conducted over an eight-week period.
