Coloring is exploding in popularity which made it no surprise that this Coloring Roll really struck a chord with testers. Both parents and children had hours and hours of fun coloring with this unique twist on traditional coloring books. Mudpuppy uses heavyweight paper that is durable and easy to color (crayons glide easily on the paper). You have the option of rolling out a single scene to color, if your child is playing individually, or you can spread out a much longer portion of the roll for group activities (we had as many as four kids coloring at the same time). Parents praised the excellent package design. Think of an aluminum foil box and you’ll get the idea. The storage container allows for coloring in tight quarters by keeping unused sections rolled up in the box. Parents liked the extra thought given to adding a storage compartment in the box for crayons. Creatively the roll is beautifully illustrated and during the testing we discovered that the design appeals to both children and adults.
