Disney Store Classic Moana Doll

Disney Store Classic Moana Doll

Moana is Disney’s newest heroine and, because the movie hadn’t been released during our testing period, it was interesting to see that children were still drawn to it. This is either a case of Disney’s marketing being highly effective or Moana is just a really appealing doll. Parents noted that Moana breaks all stereotypes of […]

Fisher-Price’s new ride-on toy is an eye-catcher that is brimming with Wow-factor appeal. This is a very quick maneuverable ride-on toy that your child controls with their hands without requiring pedaling. With many battery powered toys this size the charging/play ratio becomes a factor particularly when you have a child who is anxious to take

Bright Beats Learnin Lights Dance Mat

Testers found Bright Beats Learnin’ Lights Dance Mat to be an appealing and alluring toy for little ones. The Dance Mat got kids moving and bopping along with its great lights, sparkling colors and interactive sound. When your child crawls or walks on it, the mat comes to life. Baby Care by e-cloth Chemical-free Cleaning Toy & Nursery Cloth

Parent testers were wildly enthusiastic in their praise for this chemical-free cleaning alternative. The cloth easily got rid of dried baby food, handprints, water spots, sticky juice remains and more, all with little to no scrubbing while using

Baby Care by e-cloth Large Luxury Hooded Towel

The Baby Care Luxury Hooded Towel impressed testers as being exceptionally plush, soft, and thick. This is unlike other baby towels they had previously used which were often made out of a thinner cotton. TADgreen uses an ultra-absorbent microfiber fabric that quickly absorbs the water from the baby or childs body. What we discovered was

Huggers

Huggers

Who doesn’t like soft, cuddly stuffed animals? After two months of testing, we can once again report that the answer is, no one! Huggers are well-made, very well stitched, soft, plush, animals that have adorable faces and big outstretched arms ready to hug your child. Wild Republic creates these stuffed friends in a wide variety

E-Z Grip Soccer

E-Z Grip Soccer

Tucker Toys has invented a ball that can really bounce on grass, sand or water. To begin, let’s state that it looks nothing like your typical soccer ball. The design looks futuristic and the size is smaller, so calling it a soccer ball is a considerable stretch, but more importantly, none of that dampened testers

HOW IT WORKS

A Seal of Approval review involves a multi-step process conducted over an eight-week period.

Parents and children, experience and review submitted products and services either already released or coming to market.

Participants fill out questionnaires for each product or service they test. They score based on 13 levels of criteria including quality, appeal, design, price, packaging, directions, desirability, stimulation, replay factor, and more. Results are based on both statistical averaging and comments received by testers.

There are three testing periods each year:
