Razor Jr. t3

Razor is a multiple Seal winner having produced some of our testers favorite ride-on toys for all ages. This scooter is aimed at the pre-school set, and according to parents it is high-quality, appealing, fun, and exceptionally easy to use. Pre-schoolers, especially those around older children who are scooting around the neighborhood, are often eager […]

Y Flyer

Y Flyer

Y Flyer is not your everyday scooter. That’s not what Yvolution has ever been about and this year they have created a worthy successor to their previous Seal winners. The Y Flyer is powered much like an elliptical exercise machine. It moves as fast as you can step. Since it is kid-powered your child will

Gallop & Rock Learning Pony

The evolution of the rocking horse continues with this new toy from VTech. This pony can be both a rocker and a roller. With the removal of a plastic bolt (very easily done) the bottom can be flipped from the side with a rounded rocking edge to the one with wheels for rolling and scooting.

Power Wheels Wild Thing

Fisher-Price’s new ride-on toy is an eye-catcher that is brimming with Wow-factor appeal. This is a very quick maneuverable ride-on toy that your child controls with their hands without requiring pedaling. With many battery powered toys this size the charging/play ratio becomes a factor particularly when you have a child who is anxious to take

Dexster

Dexster

The scooter market is loaded with brands all touting that they are new or different. In most cases the claim is hollow, they really are the same with some minor variations. Not the case with Dexster. Kid tester after kid tester told us that they felt they had found a scooter that really works for

Razor A5 Prime Scooter

Testers were impressed with how Razor has stepped up their game when it comes to quality and design in the scooter market. The A5 Prime Scooter is a reflection of that effort. The addition of features like the larger wheels and wider riding deck along with their new anti-rattle system left an impression on parents.

Razor A5 Air

Over the years we have discovered that there are two schools of thought about scooters, they are either a fun kid’s toy or they are a practical system of getting around for all ages. The Razor A5 falls more in the second category, though it is not without a healthy dose of fun. The big

Razor Jr. T3 Scooter

Razor’s T3 Scooter is a great introduction for toddlers who are new to scooters. Parents immediately gravitated to the apparent safety and balance benefits that having two wheels up front affords. The flexibility of the wide step board minimizes the vibration a child will experience when in motion which in turn helps them stay in

Razor RSF650

“Whoa, now THAT is cool!” We finally lost count of how many times we heard that from our testers, young and old, when they laid eyes on the RSF650. OK, it’s not exactly a catchy name, but without a doubt it’s an eye-catching new ride-on from Razor. This battery powered “motorcycle” was a tester magnet

4-in-1 Stroll & Grow Tek Trike™

If you are looking for a tricycle that will entertain your active child on the go then look no further. This trike has four stages. To parents that meant they would get their money’s worth as their child grew through the stages. The versatility and growth aspect makes this a ride-on that can easily be

HOW IT WORKS

A Seal of Approval review involves a multi-step process conducted over an eight-week period.

Parents and children, experience and review submitted products and services either already released or coming to market.

Participants fill out questionnaires for each product or service they test. They score based on 13 levels of criteria including quality, appeal, design, price, packaging, directions, desirability, stimulation, replay factor, and more. Results are based on both statistical averaging and comments received by testers.

There are three testing periods each year:

Report Period Testing Begins Submission Deadline Testing Ends Report Issued

FALL ’24 June 1st June 24th July 31st August 15th
HOLIDAY ’24 September 1st September 24th October 31st November 15th
