Razor A5 Air
Over the years we have discovered that there are two schools of thought about scooters, they are either a fun kid’s toy or they are a practical system of getting around for all ages. The Razor A5 falls more in the second category, though it is not without a healthy dose of fun. The big difference between this scooter and the ones lots of kids grow up playing with is the pneumatic tires that are able to absorb shocks and make riding on uneven surfaces easier. Everything is designed to soften the riding experience. The handlebars shake less and the rubber grips are more cushioned. As for the suggested age, the A5 is designed for a broader range than many of our testers were used to. With a frame that supports weights well north of 200 pounds and a longer riding deck for larger feet, many parents told us that they would be using the A5 as much as their kids. The kids disagreed which will either end in arguments or the purchasing of two A5’s! The higher price clearly reflects the added level of quality and materials which might be a determining factor in how that situation gets settled.
