Many parents told us that when they first saw the Hot Dots packaging they thought it would be another interactive book that children can follow along with a cute pen. (Funny how that is blasé now, think about a generation ago!) Turns out they were mainly wrong. The pen is a really cute dog, one that lights up, barks and vibrates when your child answers correctly. The books are beautifully illustrated and each one offers a new lesson like ABC’s, shapes, numbers, colors or counting, pretty much the whole gamut of early learning. Testers felt that this was a great educational tool and perfect for getting kids ready for the school year.
