If you are looking for a fun and different game to entertain older children during playdates or family gatherings, or if you simply need to have them take a break from their device screens, you will want to give Pencil Nose a whirl. After playing hundreds of games, we were amazed to find that time after time it generated loads of giggles making every game a playful experience. The centerpieces of the game are the marker-holding glasses with which you will be drawing, and yes, it is as wacky as it looks. The dry erase marker is placed on the nose extension of the glasses, and players use it to draw on the clear dry-erase board they hold in front of them while their teammate tries to guess what they are actually drawing. It truly takes a lot of skill to manipulate the marker and actually draw something that bears some resemblance to…anything! We did discover that over time, it does actually get easier. There are easy to understand rules, but they are there as a loose guideline at best. You can create your own rules, or even let your child play on their own, drawing for fun and giggling at the result. Adults told us that they also enjoyed the game, as it presents a real drawing challenge for anyone, regardless of their age. It’s a family game that will surely mix things up with laughter and hilarity.
