Perfectly Maggie
It may look like this is just another adorable plush doggie but it’s important to know that Maggie is a storybook first. The story focuses on Maggie who has some self-esteem issues. She sees her crooked teeth and waggy tail as flaws until, through the lessons of her family, she learns that she is perfect in her own way. Parents told us that their children quickly identified with Maggie and through discussion with them, they began to grasp the concept that they too, are perfect in their own unique way, regardless of how different they may look, feel, or act. Maggie does kind, helpful, and polite things each day, which in turn encourages the reader (or listener) to do the same. The book asks not just the children, but also adults, to share how they were kind, helpful, or polite every day. It’s called the “Puppy Pact”. Through repetition, these types of behaviors will start to become a part of their daily routine. The Perfectly Maggie set is really superb and parents felt it was a terrific value. It comes in a durable hard storage box, the hardcover book and the toy will stand the test of time and lots of love from your kids. As for the plush, well it looks just like Maggie from the book, down to her little eyebrows. Last but not least the illustrations are bright, vibrant and beautiful.
