Playviator airplanes caught the eye of testers with its fantastic design and build. Fat Brain hit a home run with this, especially in designing the toy planes in unisex colors: a bright light blue, and a vibrant reddish-orange. Hands down our favorite comment about this was from a parent tester who said that “even when your child leaves them lying on the floor they look awesome.” OK, they look great, but how are they to play with? Here’s the answer in plain and simple terms, they are a beautiful, well-thought toy that will spark imaginative play. The propeller spins thanks to a weight inside that moves when the plane is tilted up or down, so in effect, the airplane is actually activated by imagination play. Parents found this to be a breath of fresh air in a world of technology that keeps raising the bar on overstimulation. The genius that creates the movement is on display through the clear plastic housing. Oh and have we mentioned that Playviators dont require batteries? We know, icing on the cake, right? These planes are made from sturdy material that was tossed around by some of our roughest toy testers. They held up to the test, showing no signs of wear and tear while the functionality remained intact and that really impressed parents.
