This toy carries a very familiar brand name but quite frankly this is not what any of our testers think of when we think Hot Wheels. After throwing that confusion out we got down to the business of playing with and evaluating this cool looking new RC offering. The Terrain Twister is a sight to see. The tracks/wheels/treads spin either forward or backward chewing up whatever surface it finds itself on. It moves with ease from grass to pavement to carpet and even to water. It takes some time to master the controls of the Twister since this is not your usual four wheeled car. Each surface requires slightly different control techniques so there is a bit of a learning curve. Also there is a 7V battery that requires a considerable amount of charging time so patience, while not always something our kids excel in, is required. Probably the funniest part of playing with the Terrain Twister is watching your pet’s reactions.
