Adorable, sweet little playset and a great intro into the world of Calico Critters. This set includes a cute little cottage, accessories for the bedroom and kitchen and one sweet bunny wearing a dress. Interestingly that one factor turned this from a gender-neutral toy to a girls toy in the eyes of our testers. The cozy cottage floor plan easily changes from a 2 story home to create a larger ranch style house with the signature Red Roof. The accessories are well made and include little details such as a small plate, fork, and food that fits on it. The oven opens, and the pan fits on top. All the accessories fit well in the cottage, and there is plenty of space inside for your child to reach in, move things around and play with the items. The set is made of hard plastic and is both durable and wipeable (for spills, etc.) Very appealing for the suggested age and great for imaginary play which is such an important aspect of play for children at this age.
