OK, here’s the deal, when parents first saw RingStix they were taken aback, after all they look like swords. Really? You want us to test toy swords? Not even close. This is without a doubt one of the most unique toss and catch toys we have ever seen. With a “sword” in each hand you place a single plastic ring on them as they are crossed, then you quickly fling your arms apart and they take off flying. Really flying. You will need lots of open space to play with these. We used them at the beach and on an empty soccer field. This takes time to master and while you learn there is lots of running around chasing errant rings. Luckily the rings are quite bright and colorful making them easy to locate. Once you get the hang of it it really is a blast. The thrill of sending off a good shot or spearing a ring in midflight is undeniable. The handy bag for keeping everything together was much appreciated by parents who liked playing with RingStix as much as their kids.
