Tanoshi Scholar Computer
Do you have elementary school age children and want to introduce them to the vast resources of the internet, the skills of coding and helpful applications to assist their studies? Are you hesitant due to either sturdiness or safety concerns? Or maybe you are home schooling, and are considering options for your childs first computer? Our parent testers took the Tanoshi Scholar Computer out for test ride and feel that it could offer up what you are looking for, without breaking the bank. To start, they were impressed that the computer comes loaded with parental control features, which you can control from your smart phone! This gave parents great peace-of-mind about their young children discovering “everything” out there. It also comes with a solid selection of startup educational apps that they will need in any classroom setting. Aesthetically, the design and color options were noted as being appealing, and as mentioned above, the construction felt sturdy, almost as if it was built to be manipulated by less delicate hands. It is dust and splash proof too. This is not one of those feather-light laptops which can be an issue when it comes to concerns about the weight of a backpack. There were some concerns about battery life. This may or may not affect you depending on how portable the computer will be. If it is on your child’s desk at home and plugged in, then it won’t be an issue. In the end our parent testers felt that, for the price, the variety of educational apps, the safety features (like a camera privacy cover), the touch screen and detachable keyboard, the Tanoshi Scholar is a great first computer option for families with young children.
