The Mysterious Forest is a creative and colorful game that our testers enjoyed and asked to play repeatedly (always a good sign). The game itself features beautiful artwork that parents described as “stunning”. The game box itself is ingenious. It has a lid that opens and closes like a book, instead of removing completely, which helps keep everything together for future use. Set up is easy and the game is simple to put together. The instruction book is beautifully laid out, the rules are easy to follow and kids grasped the concept quickly. At it’s core parents found The Mysterious Forest to be a great game to teach children the basics of problem solving, how to plan for what’s coming next and strengthen their memory skills. This is a great family fun game. Play time will normally run under twenty minutes.
