The Santa Claus Game

Want to incorporate the fun of Family Game Night with the spirit of the holidays? Look no further. The Santa Claus Game involves active participation, like singing a Christmas song, twirling like a snowflake or belting out your best “HO HO HO”. Kids always find this entertaining and like it when adults are silly and fun around them. Parents loved that the goal of winning is to giving away all your presents, what a nice theme to introduce for the season, especially when most games focus on hoarding as much money or loot in order to win. This board game is great for family play since the age spread is pretty broad, with all ages able to have fun and be engaged simultaneously. The board is slightly smaller than other board games but this just makes it easier to travel with, perhaps to Grandmother’s House You’ll Go! Kids liked the props, sleighs and presents, and the pop up tree is a nice 3D aspect that makes the board unique. Finally, the packaging and exterior art is colorful and attractive. The cardboard box it comes in is sturdy and should last.

HOW IT WORKS

A Seal of Approval review involves a multi-step process conducted over an eight-week period.

Parents and children, experience and review submitted products and services either already released or coming to market.

Participants fill out questionnaires for each product or service they test. They score based on 13 levels of criteria including quality, appeal, design, price, packaging, directions, desirability, stimulation, replay factor and more. Results are based on both statistical averaging and comments received by testers.

There are three testing periods each year:

Each submission must be accompanied by a $295 product testing fee (we offer multiple submission discounts). This fee covers the cost of testing, nothing more. It is non-refundable and has no bearing on the result of the testing. Additionally, we require three samples of the product or access codes for online submissions.
