Movie Buff is a game that caters to people who like card games and, even more importantly, to people who like the movies. Some might say that covers almost everyone however, in reality this game requires a serious amount of instant recall about movies, actors, lines and more. Now, if you still think you are up to it, get ready cause you are going love this game. This is not your traditional trivia game that gets stale quickly because of the finite nature of trivia questions. The card deck comes with tons of cards, which seems like a lot for two people, but Golden Bell claims that 16 people can play at one time in which case all of those cards will come in handy. The cards are grouped into Movie, Actor, Role and Quote, with a few additional strategy cards to spice up the game. Since it is quite possible that some players are not going to be as knowledgeable as others. Don’t worry, there are numerous ways you can change up the rules to make it more inclusive and fun for all. The game is well made, very compact with a super latching magnetic box, making it very easy to transport. Game play time varied, but it is not short.
