Our young testers loved playing with Scout’s Learning Lights Remote. Shaped like a real remote, this one has a screen with different shapes that light up. What’s more is that the top lights up just like a real remote. There are also numbers on the bottom and a menu in the middle with four different buttons with various options. This amazing little gadget teaches numbers up to ten, shapes, and the even the weather through catchy tunes, lights and games. When you press a number, the remote says the number, invites the child to count together and lights up the correct number of shapes on the screen. There are over 65 songs and tunes that testers young and old referred to as quite catchy. The size and shape of this toy is just right; it is easy for little hands to hold and small enough to bring everywhere. Since it has multiple games and songs, it is an ideal car toy because it is loaded with so many options to keep a child’s attention. Finally, parents all told us that they loved the volume switch.
